This summer, we will be eating our way through the rainbow! Each week we'll focus on a different color, exploring not only how it tastes, but also how it looks, feels, and even sounds. Your child will also leave with a to-go box full of the foods they explored that day so that they can continue their progress through the week. Your child will explore and learn about food, while developing healthy eating habits to expand their diet and feed their mind.

Practicing mindfulness can be difficult for children in today's faced-paced world focused on instant gratification and constant movement! Slowing down feels awkward and paying attention for longer periods of time can be uncomfortable. It also takes time to figure out which aspects of mindfulness work best for you, whether that be meditation, breathwork, journaling, or yoga, among many other things. Crafting is an excellent way to introduce children to mindfulness as it gives them tangible tools that they've created with their specific interests and unique challenges in mind. Children will craft Monday - Thursday then family & friends are invited to join Friday for a "Gallery Walk" where everyone's artwork will be displayed!

Siblings of children with special needs have special needs themselves. However, in the shadow of their brother or sister's needs, their own is often hidden, disguised, or ignored. There are certainly many advantages to being a sibling, such as developing more empathy, becoming more responsible, and displaying more resiliency. However, typically developing brothers and sisters shoulder many unique burdens and caregivers are often at a loss as to how to best support their whole family. This group explores the common struggles siblings face and empowers the family with practical strategies on how to tune in to the individual needs of each child within the family. Siblings are provided with a safe space to talk about shared feelings, share empathy and understanding, develop healthy coping skills, highlight siblings' strengths, and explore opportunities for advocacy.
